Inequality is not noise: it's architecture. Inequality presents the concentration of wealth as a structure—something built and maintained, not an inevitable "side effect." The work starts from an uncomfortable observation: much of the world works without touching what it produces, while a few accumulate income, assets, and decision-making power.
By bringing to the sensitive realm a theme often treated as mere numbers, Inequality does what good art does: it transforms data into perception. And it updates the urgency of the debate in the face of technological advancement: without democratic corrections, automation and artificial intelligence tend to amplify existing asymmetries, pushing even more people out of the possibility of living with dignity. It is a work for environments that do not shy away from the present—and for collections that understand art as thought in form.
